Belite Ceramics, a leading Chinese producer of high-end white body wall tiles with manufacturing plants located in Anyang and Tianjin, has placed an order with Sacmi that aims to increase wall tile output and create a new line for the production of porcelain floor tiles.
For the manufacturing facility in Anyang, Belite has commissioned Sacmi to provide a complete body preparation line consisting of two separate units for the production of wall and floor tile slips, both equipped with modular grinding solutions and Sacmi ATE spray driers.
Sacmi Nanhai, the group’s Chinese branch, will supply three PHC 2890 presses for wall tiles and three PHC 4300 presses for the new floor tile line, downstream of which four horizontal dryers and three dual-channel kilns will be installed.
The order will also include sorting and pallet handling solutions supplied by Sacmi-NuovaSima, including laser guided vehicles. The five sorting lines will be equipped with the Flawmaster vision quality control system.
The entire system will be controlled by Sacmi H.E.R.E; a Sacmi system that monitors all stages of production to maximise efficiency and boost quality.
