RG Group, the carbon-neutral construction specialists, have given their 130 staff a carbon neutral boost for 2021 from SaveMoneyCutCarbon, one of the UK’s leading sustainability brands, in advance of COP26 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow starting 1st November 2021.
To support the RG Group staff’s commitment to sustainability and carbon emission control, the business has given 12 months of SaveMoneyCutCarbon’s Home Club membership to the firm’s 130-strong staff. This comes in a 'Sustainable Swap Box' to further their sustainable adventures. This new partnership will also enable the RG Group to have priority access to SaveMoneyCutCarbon's wealth of business resources and supplies.
"The RG Group is one of the hardest-working construction and fit-out companies working in the UK today. For over 30 years now, they have committed not only to exemplary customer care and support for their own employees but are leading the way for sustainability,” says Mark Sait, CEO at SaveMoneyCutCarbon.
"I am passionate about doing my best to reduce my impact on the planet, to live more sustainably and to set a good example for others. The gift subscription from SaveMoneyCutCarbon has been a perfect way for to ensure I am buying the best eco products on the market to help me reduce my plastic, energy and carbon footprint, with the added benefit of helping me to save money in the process,” explains Trevor Puttick, Managing Director, RG Group.
“RG is committed to protecting the environment, with sustainable development being an integral part of our business philosophy. This commitment extends to our staff and SaveMoneyCutCarbon is the perfect way to help them live sustainably," underlines Linzi Jobbs, Environmental Officer, RG Group
RG Group is openly committed to ensuring that their projects have minimal impact on the wider environment. As construction experts with more than three decades of operational experience, they are in a firm position to understand the scope of their impacts. They also strive to enhance the communities they work with, to help uphold the importance of protecting our environment.
SaveMoneyCutCarbon has previously partnered with a variety of brands and businesses in the UK and beyond to help corporate entities lower their CO2 emissions – and, as their strapline states, to help them save money, too. The company’s ethos surrounds that of ‘simple swaps’ – and that the everyday person does not have to suffer just to do their little bit for the environment.
Mark Sait continues: “We are always pleased to partner with companies and brands who want to genuinely make a difference. There is a misconception that ‘doing right by the planet’ means undertaking a lot of stress and a lot of inconvenience. This simply isn’t the case.”
“This applies just as much to everyday living as it does to all walks of working life, too. That’s why we are so pleased to share our products and our consultancy with RG Group. They are already doing an incredible job at protecting the communities they work with. What’s more, they are doing so without causing any kind of detriment to their team.”
SaveMoneyCutCarbon’s carbon saving starter packs are available to purchase through SaveMoneyCutCarbon online now. The SaveMoneyCutCarbon Home Club, too, offers a wealth of carbon-reducing benefits and can be subscribed to via the website.
