Portobello set to launch Pura Matéria at Revestir

February 2018
Movement, texture and special pieces are the key ingredients of the new collections that Portobello will launch at Expo Revestir, Brazil in March.  Gathered under the name of Pura Matéria (Pure Matter), the ranges bring together design and innovation.  Among them, Magma Rock conveys the force of nature by uniting extremes, such as the lava heat of a volcano and the fluidity of the water.  In this range the basalt found in the region of Mount Vesuvius, near Naples, Italy, is reproduced in three colour versions.  This stone-effect is presented cut in two ways: parallel and transverse to the veins.
The Forma porcelain tile range searches nature for its inspiration, resulting in a choice of innovative mosaics.
Finally, the Tangram range takes as its starting point this traditional eastern game formed by geometric pieces that can be composed in different ways.  Here the emphasis is on geometry and the creative options opened up by various combinations.
