Adex's 3rd generation leader, Francisco Garcia Felipeneri, known as Paco, passed away on March 9th.
Paco served as President of Cevisama for 12 years, and, in 1993, received the Medalla de Oro de la Villa de Onda for his contribution to the international promotion of the Spanish ceramic tile industry.
Under his direction, Adex expanded from its European customer base to the North American market and established Adex USA 21 years ago. Paco led the introduction of Art Tile to the USA, with Adex’s hand-painted tiles, more than 35 years ago. He was fond of saying: "Adex was in the subway tile market before there were subways."
The family legacy of Adex, now in its fourth generation, continues, following his philosophy of listening to the customer and meeting their needs.
He will be dearly missed.
