If the press preview material from Atlas Concorde is any guide, Cersaie 2019 will build on the theme of decadent luxury established last year. Marble, a natural material associated with the very idea of Italian-ness, is the inspiration for the Marvel collection by Atlas Concorde.
This has been taken a stage further by Marvel Dream. This range supplements the Marvel collection, adding a contemporary twist to an iconic material packed with evergreen charm through an ‘unconventional’ choice of decorative elements.
Marvel Dream features innovative products that are bold in terms of colour. Blue, green, and amaranth, which distinguish Ultramarine, Brazil Green, and Crystal Beauty respectively, were created by enlarging and elaborating the structure of rare, precious stones. These colours are unprecedented and cannot be found in nature. They were designed to tone down the more classic appearance of marble, in order to create settings with strong visual impact.
Marvel Dream is designed for prestigious interiors, both commercial applications such as high-end stores, hotels, and spas, and private residential use. The possibility of designing with large-sized porcelain tile slabs (1,200 by 2,780mm), with an ultra-slim 6mm thickness, affords ample freedom for colour co-ordination.
Polished options come in seven formats down to 375 by 750mm, and matt options in four formats including 600 by 600mm. Matching unpolished porcelain slabs for kitchen worktops, work surfaces and tables are available in 1,620 by 3,240 by 12mm.
