Marazzi has supplied a range of designs, finishes and tile sizes for the new Hotel Lambert in Poland. The Hotel Lambert is a modern facility at Ustronie Morskie, a delightful beachfront resort located within the protected landscape of Koszaliński Pas Nadmorski. Making the most of an attractive location overlooking the Baltic, the resort offers wellness and rehab services, and is organised around an indoor spa with pools and a salt cave.
The designer of the hotel, Dobrosława Matela-Lapczuk, decided to use marble-effect porcelain stoneware from the Evolutionmarble range by Marazzi both as wall cladding for the entrance hall and for the stairs to the upper floors. The collection was inspired by fine quality marble and, for this project, four colours were chosen: Bronzo Amani, Golden Cream, Calacatta, and Nero Marquina. Both natural and lux versions were specified.
The different formats selected (300 by 600mm, 580 by 1,160mm, 580 by 580mm, and 600 by 600mm) were combined to create a variety of installation patterns. In addition, a number of marble-effect slabs were cut and arranged in such a way as to form a compass rose at the hotel entrance.
