Marazzi Partners The Milano Design Film Festival

October 2019

Marazzi, the world’s leading ceramic tiles brand, is renewing its partnership with the Milano Design Film Festival, the annual cinema and design event that brings stories about designers, styles and the avant-garde to the big screen, together with investigations into the great social themes of living and designing.

The title chosen for the seventh edition of the Festival, Mind The Gap, is an invitation to understand differences, reflect on changes and contemplate the digital revolution through biographical films, short films and an important series of previews.

This year Marazzi accompanies the film “Ornamento e Delitto”, the only film by Aldo Rossi, Gianni Braghieri and Franco Raggi, directed by Luigi Durissi, produced for the Milan Triennale XV (1973) and recently restored by the Cineteca di Bologna.

Marazzi has partnered the Milano Design Film Festival since its first edition, demonstrating the Group’s clear desire to maintain a dialogue with the world of design and architecture, sharing the spirit of the festival in terms of research and promotion of high-quality content.

The Milano Design Film Festival will be held at the Anteo Palazzo del Cinema in Milan from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 October with over 50 scheduled films. The screening of “Ornamento e Delitto”, which, like every film at the festival, merits a self-certified training credit issued by the Order of Architects of Milan, will be held on 25 October at 6.30 p.m. and on 26 October at 4.00 p.m. in the Sala Astra.
