Mapei at 100% Design 2017

June 2017

Mapei has just announced that the company will be exhibiting at 100% Design, which will take place 20th to 23rd September at Olympia London.

One of main technical innovations being explained by Mapei experts will be the more than 500 possible Kerapoxy Design Mapeglitter combinations.  This highly-advanced grout means that creating a unique look for each and every project has never been easier.  Mapei’s metallic coloured Mapeglitter is mixed with Kerapoxy Design to form a sparkly metallic grouting mortar suitable for grouting joints in all types of tiles, forming a particularly effective look when used with metallic or glass tiles and mosaics.

Over 50 grout colours with over 40 matching silicone sealants have been unveiled by Mapei during 2017.  The new range of colours are divided into five Set The Mood collections: Serene, Traditional, Natural, Romance and Glamour.  This makes it easier than ever to choose the right grout according to the requirements of each tiling project and the user’s personal preference.  Mapei’s high performance Ultracolor Plus, anti-mould and water-repellent grout is suitable for grouting joints from 2 to 20mm wide in both internal and external wall and floor installations.

Mapei will also be promoting the Mapefloor Comfort AR/X system; Ultratop Loft, a one-component, trowelable, cementitious product available in two different aggregate sizes; and the Silancolor Paint System.

With 80 years’ experience in the sector, Mapei is a leading organisation in the manufacture of adhesives, sealants and chemical products for construction. Mapei has teams dedicated to specification and offers CPDs across 15 product lines.
