Keramir invests in new Sacmi press

May 2019

As part of its plant upgrade for developing new tile models and formats, Keramir, the St. Petersburg-based ceramic tile manufacturer, has installed a new PH3800 press from Sacmi.  This will enable the Russian company to expand its range with the introduction of sizes up to 300 by 600mm and 200 by 500mm, and so enter new markets.

The press is equipped with Sacmi’s CRS rapid mould change system with permanent magnet fixing, plus a handling and centring device that allows the mould to be inserted by a single operator.

The press was installed into the existing factory layout without the need for structural work.
