Kerakoll Group supports world-wide growth with Brazilian plant

January 2019

LB has continued its long-standing relationship with Kerakoll Group by designing and supplying the production plant in Jundiai, Sao Paulo state Brazil. The plant, including storage, batching, and mixing stages, optimises raw materials handling and ensures maximum production flexibility.  The plant extends over a total floor space of around 5,000 sq. metres and has a production capacity of 40,000 tonnes per annum.

For Kerakoll, the new plant is part of a broader Brazilian market penetration strategy aimed at establishing the company as a key partner for architects and major clients and with an increasing focus on green and low-environmental-impact technologies.
At the beginning of 2018 Kerakoll announced a Euro 25 million investment programme which, along with the new factory, also included the acquisition of a local player (Cimentolit) and the creation of an R&D laboratory for the development of sustainable technological solutions.
