LB, one of the leading Italian tile manufacturing equipment suppliers, has strengthened its position in the dry colouring technology sector in to India and Sri Lanka by signing new contracts to supply Easy Color System plants. One of these began operation in June in the new Lanka Tiles facility owned by Sri Lanka-based group Rocell, a longstanding customer of LB.
The Simpolo group, an Indian ceramic tile manufacturer based in Gujarat which owns Nexion and Sims, has ordered a further two dry colouring lines from LB following the ones installed in 2015 in the SIMS 2 factory in Morbi. The plants are due to begin production during the summer.
