Faboce chooses Multigecko as its end-of-line solution

January 2018
After commissioning three Creadigit E digital printers at its facilities in Tarija, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz de la Sierra in early 2017, Bolivian ceramic tile manufacturer Faboce has again chosen System technology for the modernisation of its end-of-line department.
Specifically, it has specified a Multigecko sorting system, a 4Phases packaging machine and a Falcon Portale palletiser for the production unit in Santa Cruz de la Sierra on the new line for cutting, rectifying and honing full-body and glazed porcelain tiles in sizes up to 1,200 by 1,200mm.
These solutions will enable Faboce to handle small, medium and large formats with a single technological set-up.  The ultra-fast 4Phases packaging machine ensures size change flexibility and reduces environmental impact through lower use of cardboard.
System has also supplied two automatic Robofloor systems for pallet handling and storage developed by Nuova Era.
