ABK's growth trajectory continues

ABK is continuing its growth trajectory focused on product excellence and industrial investments, boosted by the improvement in economic results in the first half of 2018.  The total value of production reached Euro 60.9 million, 5% up on the same period in 2017.  This growth was largely driven by the strong export performance and the increase in sales of large-size products.  EBITDA reached Euro 10.2 million, up 6.3%, and net profits Euro 4.9 million, compared to Euro 4.3 million in 2017.  The company has also confirmed that its innovative extra-thick through-vein ceramic slabs will go into production in 2019.

During Cersaie 2018, ABK signed an partnership with Facemag for the distribution of large porcelain slabs in Morocco, with the Facemag/ABK showroom in Casablanca set to feature the ABK Wide range.  Under the terms of the partnership, ABK will also provide Facemag with the support necessary for the production of XXL slabs in Morocco.
