The new Deck collection by Iris Ceramica offers a unique interpretation of wood

February 2018

Created in 9mm thick 200 by 1,200mm planks, the new Deck collection from Iris Ceramica is billed as a unique ceramic interpretation of wood.

The warm hues of Elm, reddish brown of Plane wood (above), the brownish yellow of Olive and golden shades of Alder create an original ceramic interpretation of wood, proposed in what may now be viewed as a conventional 200 by 1,200mm plank formats.

Highly naturalistic patterns of veins and knots draw sinuous lines on the surfaces, underlining the natural beauty of the original material and imparting spaces with the energy of living materials.  The range has a natural surface finish.
