With the new Loft collection,Porcelaingres, a leading manufacturer of high quality porcelain stoneware, investigates the potential of combining stone with concrete in a collection that is clearly of a north European style that lends itself to being used in any context.
The Iris Ceramica Group brand has always stood out for its ability to mix different materials and sensations in its collections to create innovative products that meet the needs of the most modern architectural trends. Loft blends the materiality of concrete with the elegance of stone to create an essential and contemporary texture, where the background is illuminated by small iridescent particles that give it character.
The collection features four colours - Loft Snow, Loft Sand, Loft Smoke, and Loft Dark - taken from the palette of neutrals, which are able to blend in well with any type of space, whether public or private, and to match any style of furnishing.
The Loft collection can be used for walls and floors, both indoors and outdoors. The natural finish was specifically designed with two different slip ratings: the slabs with a R11 rating together with a thickness of 20mm are perfect for outdoor use.
The variety of sizes allows designers to use versatile surfaces to furnish various types of environment. The new 1,000 by 1,000mm size, available in thicknesses of 6mm and 20mm, is integrated with 8mm thick pieces in more traditional 300 by 600, and 600 by 1,200mm sizes, and an 8mm mosaic in 300 by 300mm sheets.
Such a wide range allows architects and interior designers to customise stylistic choices according to the requirements of the space and the customer.
In addition to this flexibility of use are the advantages of the material itself: the technical characteristics of porcelain stoneware make it resistant to impact, scratches, atmospheric agents, and UV rays, making itdurable, and easy to maintain and clean.
