The Woodsense from Ragno is inspired by salvaged antique wooden beams and boards. Every single piece has its own precise history, a past life of memories that can be traced on its surfaces: simulated woodworm tracks, worm holes, splits, and the marks left by nails or iron punches, help to make this timber-effect stoneware range look even more authentic and timeworn.
Woodsense features a mix of very different graphic finishes: time-worn surfaces, with strong colour variations alongside plainer, simpler surfaces, with intense, strong interplays of colour, and more uniform, less intensely processed pieces.
The character of the Woodsense range is achieved using the latest digital technology, which starts with high-resolution graphic scans, that help to control the use of gloss and matt inks for a very natural result.
This new wood-look stoneware comes in four extremely natural colours: two warm – Beige and Marrone – and two cold – Avorio and Grigio. All these colours are available in three different formats with a natural surface: 250 by 1,500mm; 190 by 1,500mm and the more conventional 200 by 1,200mm. The latter is also produced with a R11 structured surface for outdoor use.
Woodsense also includes a 20mm thick version, in 400 by 1,200mm and 600 by 600mm format, Beige, Marrone and Grigio, suitable for traditional adhesive or dry lay installation.
Woodsense is a collection suitable for covering both indoor and outdoor walls and floors, in residential settings and for contract projects.
