New ZYX: The future of 3D tiles from Craven Dunnill

New ZYX: The future of 3D tiles from Craven Dunnill

October 2017

Craven Dunnill has broadened its appeal to interior designers and architects with the Autumn 2017 launch of the new ZYX collection of three-dimensional wall tiles.

Designed for those seeking to create a powerful canvas, ZYX looks beyond the current trend for small format brick-shaped and square tiles, exploring the new formats of triangles and diamonds, featuring varying 3D relief and a multitude of decorative finishes.

The ZYX Triangle tile format measures 170mm on all three sides.  It is offered in a choice of four profiles: Layer, Cascade, Channel and Level.  Each offers a pronounced surface design with three-dimensional characteristics, including Channel, which features a scalloped, concave profile, and Level which resembles a pyramid.

The ZYX Diamond tile format measures 150mm on all four sides and is likewise available in four profile choices: Area (flat), Drop (wedge-shaped), Zoom (scalloped) and Blend (raised swirl).

Special glaze effects augment the creative scope of this tile range. Twelve glazes are available, including Copper Laser Glossy that features an etched metallic effect, Silver Glossy which sparkles, a minimalist White Glossy and a dramatic Black Matt.

The ZYX collection of wall tiles from Craven Dunnill provides maximum scope to create a unique and dramatic feature in the home or public space. It is available on special order.
