Parkside has opened its first UK showroom in Chelsea Cross. This new destination contemporary porcelain and ceramic tile showroom marks a new era for the design community, with two tile stalwarts, Mark Williams and Richard France collaborating together to create a dynamic architectural tile concept.
The new showroom presents an unparalleled opportunity for visitors to explore Parkside’s extensive contemporary porcelain and ceramic tile collections, with many exclusive designs sourced, as well as offering a wide range of bespoke services.
Parkside claims that this is the first time that a combination of these cutting edge bespoke tile services have been offered together, appealing to a sophisticated and discerning audience of architects, interior designers and developers in the hospitality, residential and retail sector as well as consumers. This new approach and service offering will alter how tiles are perceived and used within the interior, paving the way for innovative one-off installations. Among the bespoke services available are waterjet cutting, porcelain worktop fabrication, and digital printing on to tiles
Spread over two floors, the design of this 100 sq ft flagship showroom by Creative Director, Mark Williams, provides an inspirational space that reflects and enhances this exciting new brand. Showcasing over 500 tile designs, the collections range from large porcelain slabs to bespoke British handmade ceramic wall tiles.
Parkside collaborates with some of the world’s most dynamic manufacturers who have developed exclusive collections. This includes the Lido, the first polished tile to be anti-slip; the Fyne collection that interprets the feel of linen and tartan pattern on to a porcelain tile, and the groundbreaking Kaste01, a porcelain shower tray with matching floor tiles that creates a seamless floor finish.
Creative Director, Mark Williams, and Director of Commercial Sales, Richard France, have over 50 years combined experience in assisting the A&D community, with a passion for the product and an enthusiasm for trends and innovation in ceramic and porcelain technology.
Mark Williams was formerly Creative Director of Capitol Designer Studio. He trained as an architect and designer, providing him with an inside perspective into how the industry uses tiles in their design schemes.
Also architecturally trained, Richard France and his team, have emerged as the go-to specialists in creating bespoke projects within the hospitality and leisure arena. France has unrivalled experience in interpreting clients’ artistic concepts and turning them into reality.
“We are thrilled to be opening Parkside’s first UK showroom in such a fantastic location. We believe this space is a truly inspirational tile showroom, providing West London’s architects and designer community with the latest trends and quality service. This will act as a template for our future plans to expand our showroom presence and architectural consultancy teams,” stated Williams.
