What is the role?

We are currently recruiting for our Training and Technical Support Team in the Midlands regions.

The main purpose of the role will be to promote, train and provide technical support to current and potential customers in the correct usage of the company's range of specialist tile fixing products.

  • To carry out product training and demonstration for the full suite of products at trade events, exhibitions or on project sites and within our Innovation + Technology Centre.
  • To assist the Area Sales Manager and Specification Manager for your region with product training, technical and specification support.
  • To assist in on-site complaint resolution
  • To contribute towards new product development

 

What are we looking for?

A positive and energetic person who wants to develop their career. The successful candidate must obviously be able to work as a key part of our commercial teams, working with our sales, specification, technical and marketing teams. You should be a motivated self-starter able to deliver engaging training and technical support to our wide base of customers.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience of tile fixing is essential either as a fixer/contractor and/or training role.

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and demonstration skills, sound analytical skills and also have at minimum basic computer literacy. 

A full UK driving license is required with the ability to service the allocated regions for your customer base.

Due to our rapid growth, we are currently looking for two fantastic tile people to join our amazing customer support teams here at Total Tiles.

Although primarily an e-commerce retailer (www.totaltiles.co.uk), at Total Tiles we trade through multiple channels. We specialise in supplying ceramic and porcelain tiles, underfloor heating systems and tiling accessories across the whole of the UK from our main distribution centre in Ipswich.

We are currently searching for two candidates to join the customer support teams. One at our Stoke-on-Trent office, and another at our Ipswich distribution centre.

The succesful candidates should have experience in the tile industry, a keen eye for detail and be experienced in customer facing environments. We supply a wide range of customers including retail, tile and bathroom stores, developers and tradespeople, who all require a high level of expertise and professionalism at all times.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate competent computer skills, good literacy and numeracy abilities, a great attention to detail, a "customer is king" attitude and a willingness to learn and implement new skills.

In return we offer a comprehensive package which includes a positive friendly environment, a very competitive basic salary and an annual performance related bonus, giving this position an OTE of between £30,000 - £33,000 per annum

Training in all aspects of the role will be provided to the successful candidates

TILE SHOWROOM ASSISTANT MANAGER
