Total-16 Low Profile System: a low-build hydronic underfloor heating solution from Warmup

portfolio3

The Total-16 Low Profile System from Warmup is a low-build hydronic system, comprising three modular boards; straight, return, and multi-feed.

The straight boards come complete with pre-installed aluminium heat diffusion plates. At only 16mm thick, with a 12mm PEX-A pipe, the system will have minimal impact on floor height.
Water underfloor heating is often only suitable for new-builds as it needs to be installed within the screed and can add a significant height to the floor build.

The Total-16 Low Profile System is easy to install and its low-build makes the system ideal for retrofitting, and installations for off-plan specifications.

It is perfect for use over pre-insulated floors, intermediate floors, or those where it is impractical to lay a thicker system.

In line with Warmup’s practice of offering the best warranties and guarantees, Total-16 comes complete with a Lifetime Warranty and unique SafetyNet Installation-Guarantee. This guarantee means if you accidentally damage the system during installation, Warmup will replace it free of charge.

When selecting a thermostat to control the Total-16 Low Profile System, Warmup’s 4iE Smart WiFi Thermostat is the perfect solution.  The 4iE offers customers energy saving advice based on Warmup’s market-leading R&D, and following the on-screen tips can save homeowners up to £210 a year on energy bills.

Further savings can be achieved when switching energy suppliers based on the better energy tariffs identified by the 4iE.

warmup

A low build, no screed required, lightweight, yet heavy duty hydronic solution

Installers specifying hydronic underfloor heating solutions are often faced with a number of challenges such as; floor height restrictions, cumbersome heating panels, and the inability to immediately tile directly over the heating system. As the system does not need to heat the screed, Total-16 is able to heat up a room in minutes not hours.

Total-16 comprises of three modular boards – straight, return, and multi-feed. The straight boards come complete with pre-installed aluminium heat diffusion plates. StickyMat System introduced by Warmup

portfolio3

Warmup prides itself in providing the best products and services.  When it comes to installation, through customer feedback and testing from its Research & Development Centre, Warmup is constantly looking at ways to improve its products.  This is based on the knowledge that trade professionals are always on the look-out for a better, more efficient way to install underfloor heating.

The StickyMat enables a smaller contractor to install underfloor heating as fast as a larger company.  In an internal testing environment, when using StickyMat against a similar product without pressure sensitive adhesive, the installation of StickyMat was 35% faster: a big difference.

StickyMat underfloor heating is more than just a standard heating mat; it uses a 1.8mm pre-paced wire with tough fluoropolymer coatings which provide inner and outer insulation for even surface heat distribution. The StickyMat is available in a choice of 150 and 200 W/m² heat outputs and 13 different sizes.  It is suitable for all projects: new build, retrofits and refurbishments.  Once installed you have two options: lay a thin, self-levelling screed over the mat and leave it to dry or trowel a full bed of flexible tile adhesive directly over the mat and lay the floor tiles.  Warmup also offers a market leading 24/7/365 technical support service to give personal advice during and after installation.

In line with Warmup’s tradition of offering the best warranties and guarantees, StickyMat comes with a Lifetime Warranty and SafetyNet Installation Guarantee.  This means if you accidentally damage the system during installation, Warmup will replace it free of charge!

When selecting a control for the StickyMat, Warmup’s 4iE Smart WiFi Thermostat is the trade preferred solution. The 4iE offers smart control from your phone, tablet or computer and can save users up to £200 on energy bills.

Warmup launches new 4iE Smart WiFi Thermostat: smarter, better, independent

4iE Smart WiFi Thermostat

Warmup has launched of 4iE Smart WiFi Thermostat which is ideal for use with radiator and underfloor heating systems.

If the 4iE is registered before 31st August 2015, it comes complete with a free lifetime warranty upgrade. This presents a solution that is said to be unrivalled by any other supplier.

The 4iE learns how you use your heating and the unique way your house reacts. It then automatically suggests ways for you to save energy, suggesting what temperature you should set when you are not at home and when you can turn the heating off early.

The smart ways the 4iE finds to heat your home more efficiently could save you up to £200 on the average UK energy bill with the potential for an additional saving of £380 (Source: uSwitch) by using the 4iE to find better energy prices from alternative suppliers.

The 4iE offers many features and benefits that make it stand out from other smart thermostats, offering important advantages to the homeowner:

Smarter: Many thermostats can be controlled by a smartphone. Only the 4iE, using over 10 years data analysis from the Warmup Research Centre in Germany and the Warmup Monitored Family Homes Programme, learns how you use your heating and tells you how to optimise your temperature settings. This ensures that you do not have your heating on for a moment longer than necessary.

Better: Smart Overrides make it quick and easy to control your heating. The 4iE also offers energy monitoring, complete with graphical displays of energy usage, temperatures and costs. This is ideal for those who want to get the perfect balance between comfort and economy by using the thermostat’s programmability and personalised tips feature to the fullest extent. The 4iE also offers unique customisation by allowing users to upload a personal photo background. The thermostat will even provide local weather forecasts and your travel updates.

Independent: Warmup is independent from energy suppliers and the 4iE works automatically to find you better energy prices from alternative suppliers.

The 4iE is incredibly easy to install.  It uses a standard 35mm deep back box to house connections behind its stylish facia.  It is installed just like a traditional three-wire thermostat and therefore easily replaces existing controls, including covering fixing holes from old thermostats without the need for additional plates.

Once installed, WiFi connection can be immediately set-up by the homeowner along with the intuitive and easy to understand programming.  When set to ‘learning mode’ it will quickly learn how you use the heating with no need to reprogram if your routine changes.

The 4iE can be controlled from its touchscreen or through smartphones and tablets via a personal MyWarmup account.  Using Warmup’s algorithmic Early Start technology, the 4iE will ensure that your home is always at the right temperature at the right time.

The 4iE is available from Topps Tiles and all leading retailers. To receive more information, and to find your nearest stockist, call 0845 345 2288, uk@warmup.com or visit www.warmup.co.uk.
