Schlüter-Systems Ltd extends training offering for 2019

November 2018

With demand for its training courses at an all-time high, Schlüter-Systems Ltd is looking to add 40% more places across all its courses for the year to come, as well as introducing a brand-new offering.
Throughout 2018, the Coalville-based tiling systems manufacturer has held regular training sessions up to two to three times a week at its Leicestershire headquarters.

These courses can be attended by any tiler or allied tradesperson who wishes to learn more about Schlüter-Systems’ products; attendees are introduced to the various areas of the company’s expertise through a blend of classroom and practical learning experiences.

As the reputation of Schlüter’s courses spreads, and each date is being fully subscribed months in advance, the company has identified a need to increase the number of places on each of its course dates for 2019, providing greater flexibility for attendees.

“By increasing the number of places available on our training courses, we will keep more dates open and available,” explains Andrew Curry,  Training Manager.  “We’re giving people more of a chance to get involved, and to meet others engaged in similar work to themselves: forging new friendships and partnerships with each other along the way.”

Schlüter-Systems Ltd is also pleased to announce that following a trio of preview events this Autumn, the first Schlüter Specialist Installer (SSI) course will launch fully in early 2019.
SSI represents the second tier of development for Schlüter’s training course portfolio, adding to the introductory-level course already in place.

The SSI courses are of a more advanced level and will take a more practical format than the introductory courses.  During the two-day course, attendees will learn how to prepare and install a complete Schlüter-Wetroom.  As attendees will need to hit the ground running, entry onto an SSI course is contingent on sound completion of Schlüter’s introductory course.

“Our introductory course has generated a fantastic response and we’re keen to provide the skills and confidence for installers to be able to install complete Schlüter-Wetrooms,” says Curry.  “We’ve trialled the new course with select focus groups of individuals and I’d like to thank them for their positive and constructive feedback. We look forward to releasing our new offering officially in the new year.”
2019 promises to be another exciting year for Schlüter-Systems’ training team and facilities.
